Believe it or not, I can actually take photographs of things other than ducks. I also can totally depart from nature photography, but I’ll wait to prove that another time. All of these shots were captured in city parks throughout Queens County:

A Tufted Titmouse attempts to gain balance after landing on a branch.

A Downy Woodpecker inspects a tree for its next meal.

A White-breasted Nuthatch takes a break on the ground between feedings.

A Black-capped Chickadee enjoys some downtime on a branch.

A Black-capped Chickadee picks at tree buds.

A Northern Flicker forages for food amongst some dried grass.

An Eastern Gray Squirrel peers around the trunk of a tree.

An Eastern Chipmunk hides behind fallen branches.

An Eastern Gray Squirrel enjoys the sunset before calling it a day.
Beautiful images, especially like the last one!
